All KATAPATA sloper-making features are completely free for the Women’s, Men’s, Kids’ 110 cm, Kids’ 140 cm Girls, and Kids’ 140 cm Boys tools. From entering measurements and creating slopers to on-screen adjustments, saving your work, and exporting PDFs, everything is available without any purchase process.

No registration or purchase is required. Simply enter your measurements and start by checking the shape of your sloper on screen.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Features available for free

You can complete the basic workflow—from creating and adjusting a sloper to saving your work and exporting print-ready PDFs.

Enter measurements

Enter the measurements needed to create your sloper, including bust or chest, waist, hip, and back length.

Create slopers automatically

Create basic slopers based on the measurements you enter. Available bodice, sleeve, skirt, and pants pieces vary by tool.

Adjust on screen

Fine-tune areas such as the shoulder, neckline, armhole, sleeve cap, waist, and crotch by moving the adjustment points.

Transfer darts

Use dart transfer where available to move darts to locations such as the shoulder, neckline, armhole, and waist. Destinations and adjustment options vary by tool.

Save and resume

Save your work in progress and load it again later to continue editing.

Export PDFs

Export full-size PDFs and tiled A4, A3, or US Letter PDFs. You can also download all pattern pieces and PDF formats together in a ZIP file.

PDF OUTPUT

PDF output formats

Choose the output format that best suits your printing setup and intended use.

Full-size PDFExports the sloper at actual size on one large page. Suitable for large-format printers or professional printing services.
A4 tiled PDFSplits the sloper across A4 pages. Print with a home printer and assemble the pages to use the pattern at full size.
A3 tiled PDFSplits the sloper across A3 pages. Use a printer that supports A3 paper and assemble the pages at actual size.
US Letter tiled PDFSplits the sloper across US Letter pages for regions where Letter-size paper is commonly used.
ZIP downloadSaves all generated pattern pieces in full-size, A4 tiled, A3 tiled, and US Letter tiled PDF formats together. Extract the ZIP file, then select the PDF format that matches your printing method.
SAVE DATA

You can also save your working data

In addition to PDFs, you can save editable KATAPATA data that retains your measurements and adjustments.

We recommend saving both the PDF and your KATAPATA data

A PDF is intended for printing and cannot be loaded back into KATAPATA for further editing.

If you may want to continue adjusting the sloper later or resume on another device, please keep your KATAPATA save data as well.

KATAPATA CAD

A separate patternmaking tool is also being explored

KATAPATA CAD is envisioned as a PC-focused tool for developing slopers created with KATAPATA into garment patterns for blouses, dresses, and more. It is separate from the current sloper-making tools.
