Based on your measurements, KATAPATA automatically creates basic bodice, sleeve, and bottom slopers. Women’s, Men’s, Kids’ 110 cm, Kids’ 140 cm Girls, and Kids’ 140 cm Boys sloper tools are currently available. Available pieces and adjustment options vary by tool.
Fine-tune on screen
Review the overall sloper while moving adjustment points for areas such as the shoulders, neckline, armholes, and sleeve cap.
Create dart transfers and bottom slopers
In addition to basic slopers, you can create dart-transferred versions and basic skirt or pants slopers where available.

Slopers and Garment Patterns
Sloper
A sloper is a basic foundation shape created from body measurements.
It becomes the starting point for developing patterns for blouses, dresses, jackets, and many other garments.
KATAPATA slopers include the ease required for a basic sloper, so their finished measurements are not exactly the same as the body measurements you enter.
Garment Pattern
A garment pattern is developed from a sloper by adding design ease and style lines, then developing elements such as collars, sleeves, seams, and tucks.
A KATAPATA sloper is not a finished garment pattern and does not include seam allowances. To make a garment, the sloper needs to be developed into a pattern for the intended design.
Before cutting your final fabric, check the sloper measurements and consider making a test garment to confirm the fit and balance.

KATAPATA can be used in both Japanese and English.
Measurements can be displayed in centimeters or inches, making the tools usable both in Japan and internationally.

No dedicated app installation is required. KATAPATA runs directly in your browser.
You can also use it on smartphones and tablets. For detailed adjustments while viewing the entire sloper, a larger PC screen is recommended.
